The ComplexCon story just moved from "viral clip" to "police case." Here is what is now on the record, what is still reporting, and what nobody has confirmed.
## What changed Earlier on Oct. 3 @nojumper and @Kurrco flagged that Lucki was hurt after an alleged clash with Playboi Carti's entourage, which we covered as unconfirmed. Now @SaycheeseDGTL is relaying that the LAPD is investigating the altercation as an attempted murder, with four victims in total: three in stable condition and one who transported themselves to a hospital.
## What the outlets are reporting HotNewHipHop places the brawl in the parking lot outside the event and says Lucki sustained a laceration to the neck, with authorities not confirming whether it was a stab or a slash. Hip-Hop Vibe puts the time near 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 3 and says police found four people with injuries consistent with stab wounds or lacerations. Hollywood Life notes the attempted-murder classification traces back to law-enforcement sources via TMZ, not a direct LAPD quote, so treat that label as reported, not formally released.
## Complex responds Complex's statement, as quoted by HotNewHipHop: "The safety and security of our guests, talent, partners and staff is our highest priority. We are aware of an incident that occurred outside the ComplexCon event yesterday and our security team and the LAPD responded immediately." It does not name Lucki or Carti.
## Lucki's condition Hollywood Life says Lucki reposted an Instagram Story in the early hours of Oct. 4, which fans read as a sign he is alert. A source close to him told that outlet he is recovering. That is a sign of life, not a medical update from his team.
## What is still unconfirmed Who attacked whom. Whether Lucki was stabbed or slashed. Any link to Playboi Carti beyond the fact that video reportedly shows him near the scene; he is not named as a suspect, and neither his camp nor Lucki's has issued a statement. No arrests have been announced. We are not assigning blame to anyone.
## Why it matters ComplexCon is where sneaker and hip-hop culture share a room, and a multi-victim incident at its doorstep is a safety story first. The questions now go to the police investigation and the event's security plan. We'll update when something verifiable lands.
