One More Time, For the Rocket.

Quavo told V-103 that he and Offset are bringing Migos back for a final album and a tour. Takeoff's role is the open question.

Quavo said it plainly on Atlanta radio, and by Thursday the whole timeline had the clip. Sitting with DJ Greg Street on V-103, Huncho confirmed that he and Offset are doing one final Migos album and taking it on the road. "We coming back. We're going to do it one more time," he said around the 3:38 mark, then answered Street's follow-up with two words that matter more than the announcement: "For the people." He closed it with "Long live the Rocket," which is Takeoff's name in the room even when nobody says his name.

The interview premiered on V-103's YouTube on September 4; Complex (@Complex) and XXL (@XXL) ran it Wednesday, September 10, and that is when it broke wide.

## What is actually confirmed An album. A tour. That's it. Quavo's exact words were "there's more... we going to tour. We going to do it right." No date, no title, no lead single, no label rollout. Nobody has confirmed whether Takeoff's vocals will appear posthumously, and Quavo didn't volunteer it. Treat anything beyond "final album + tour" as speculation until Quality Control or the group's own channels say otherwise.

The last Migos record was Culture III in June 2021, which opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Quavo and Takeoff released Only Built for Infinity Links in October 2022, weeks before Takeoff was killed in Houston that November. The group's only public reunion since was the 2023 BET Awards tribute set, "Hotel Lobby" into "Bad and Boujee."

## The trail was already there This didn't come from nowhere. In late April Quavo posted a story mapping out a posthumous Takeoff album, a second Unc & Phew project, and language pointing at a last Migos record: "AINT NO NEW CHAPTER JUST THE NEXT ONE." Offset answered hours later with a trio photo captioned "On dat." By May the two were photographed in the studio on the Migos Instagram, five construction-sign emojis for a caption. Offset had already said on 7PM in Brooklyn that they talk every other week. The announcement is the receipt on a summer of hints.

## Sequencing: Huncho first Quavo's own record comes before any of it. QRÖMELIFE, executive produced front to back by Pharrell, lands October 2. The second single, "Backwards" featuring T.I., drops today, September 11, video already shot. Read the order: solo album in October, Migos on the back half of that cycle at the earliest. If a tour is real, expect arenas, not a club run. This is the most streamed rap group of the 2010s closing a chapter, and the demand is not a question.

## Why this one hits different The Migos story has always been about three cousins from Gwinnett County who built a sound the whole industry borrowed and rarely paid for. Takeoff was the one who never chased the spotlight and somehow held the pocket down for all three. A final album with his name on the sleeve is a legacy decision as much as a business one: who controls the catalog, who gets the check, and what "one more time" is allowed to mean when the third member isn't in the booth. That's the story we'll be following. The album title is the least interesting thing about this.
