Co-founder Daniel Hidalgo confirmed a SoleFly x Air Jordan 4 is coming 'soon' in a comment under a post about Miami leaving adidas for Nike. No photos, no colorway, no date. Their AJ5 lands Oct. 8.

This is how a collab gets confirmed in 2026: not a press release, not a teaser, a boutique co-founder replying to a comment. Label it accordingly. There is no product photo yet, and the image above is SBD's graphic, not the shoe.

## What was said Per Sneaker Bar Detroit on Sept. 17, SoleFly co-founder Daniel Hidalgo confirmed a SoleFly x Air Jordan 4 is coming, in an Instagram comment under a post about the University of Miami's expected move from adidas back to Nike. The only detail: "soon." No colorway, no materials, no release date.

## What's reported, not confirmed Miami is expected to leave adidas for Nike in July 2027 on a reported 10-year deal. That's reporting, not an announcement. SBD is careful to note that Hidalgo did not confirm the AJ4 as a Hurricanes project; the comment thread just happened to be about the school. Given SoleFly's history, the Miami read is reasonable, but it is a read.

## The SoleFly track record The AJ12 "Cafecito" took Miami coffee culture and turned it into one of the best Jordan collabs of the 2020s. Earlier SoleFly 1s and 3s used Hurricanes-adjacent orange and green. The boutique's next confirmed drop is closer: the SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 (IU0734-001), Black/Aurora Green/Anthracite/Muslin, listed for Oct. 8 at SoleFly per the Sneaker News calendar.

## The read A Miami boutique on a 4 is the right silhouette at the right time; the J Balvin "Lemonade" drops this Friday and the Bred OG owns Black Friday, so the 4 is having a year. Until SoleFly posts a shoe, everything else is a comment section. We'll update when there's leather to look at.
