Quavo: Migos Album 'Almost Ready to Turn In'

On Baller Alert, Quavo said he and Offset are close to finishing a new Migos album, that it won't be another Culture, that a tour is coming, and that the group's January anniversary is the target. His solo QRÖMELIFE, produced by Pharrell, lands October 2.

Quavo doesn't do vague. On Baller Alert this weekend he put the Migos album on a clock.

## The quote "We coming back with a Migos album. I mean, y'all see us working. Can't be working just for nothing. So get ready for that. We almost ready to turn it in, too... The anniversary for Migos is January, so you might get something then." (HNHH)

Two more details from the same sit-down: it won't be another Culture, and there's a tour behind it. That's the most specific he's been since he first floated a group project this summer.

## What "Migos" means now It's Quavo and Offset. Takeoff was killed in Houston in November 2022, and the two survivors spent a stretch not speaking before working through it publicly. Every note of this record is a tribute whether they say so or not, and Quavo's been clear that honoring Take is the assignment. Say "might get something then," not "January release date." He hedged on purpose.

## The solo record first QRÖMELIFE drops October 2, produced front to back by Pharrell. Singles so far: "Backwards" with T.I., "Trance (Walk It Down)," "HAAVIN." Pharrell's been running a second-wind program for Atlanta veterans and Quavo is the clearest case. If the solo album is the warm-up, a Pharrell fingerprint on the group record wouldn't surprise anyone.

## The business read Quavo also shut down the label-switch chatter that came after Young Thug's pitch: they're scouting new talent, not moving. So the order of operations is solo October, group January, tour after. For a 25 to 45 room that learned the triplet flow off Versace in 2013, this is the reunion that actually matters, and it's coming with a date range instead of a rumor.
