Rolling Loud California Is Back. Three Days in San Bernardino, Dec. 2027.

Announced Monday, Sept. 21: the fest returns to NOS Events Center for a 10-year anniversary weekend, Dec. 10-12, 2027, after skipping California entirely in 2026. Presale is Thursday at 11 a.m. PT, $10 holds a pass. Why it left Inglewood.

Rolling Loud is coming back to California, and it's not going back to Inglewood. @RollingLoud posted the flyer Monday afternoon, September 21: Rolling Loud California 2027, December 10-12, NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, three days, billed as the 10-year anniversary of the brand's first West Coast weekend. No lineup yet. Presale is this Thursday.

## What was announced The details, per Complex and a statement co-founder Matt Zingler gave Billboard: early-access presale opens Thursday, September 24 at 11 a.m. PT for anyone who signs up at cali.rollingloud.com, with general presale an hour later at noon. Three-day passes can be locked with $10 down on a layaway plan, and TicketNews puts the floor at $249 all-in. Tiers run GA, GA+, VIP and VIP Munchies. Early buyers get a Cali 2027 tee while they last. Zingler's line: "California has always been a huge part of Rolling Loud's story, and it feels good to be back."

The venue is the part worth reading twice. Rolling Loud's first SoCal weekend was at NOS in December 2017, and it went back there in December 2021 for the J. Cole, Kid Cudi and Future year. Everything since has been Hollywood Park next to SoFi. San Bernardino is a 60-mile drive from the Forum, and Zingler told Billboard that's the point: lower costs for fans, less congestion, and more room to build out the grounds than a stadium parking lot allows.

## Why it went quiet California didn't get a Rolling Loud in 2026, and that wasn't an accident. Per TicketNews, the company consolidated its entire U.S. operation into one weekend this year, the May move from Miami to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, which co-founder Tariq Cherif framed as a deliberate concentration of effort. The last Cali edition, March 15-16, 2025 at Hollywood Park, was also the year they cut the festival from three days to two to bring the ticket price down. A$AP Rocky came in by helicopter, Peso Pluma became the first non-rap headliner in the fest's history, and Playboi Carti played MUSIC live for the first time the weekend it dropped, with Kai Cenat on stage for it. That was 18 months ago. By December 2027 it'll be nearly three years between California shows.

So 2027 is a reversal on two fronts: two U.S. festivals instead of one (Orlando is already set for May 7-9, 2027), and three days instead of two. Rolling Loud is betting that a cheaper site lets it sell the full weekend again without the price creep that cost it a day in 2025.

## The read Rolling Loud built the modern rap festival, and the SoCal edition is where the streamer era first showed up on a main stage. DDG's full set from Cali 2025 is above, on the fest's own channel, and the Kai Cenat walk-on with Carti that same weekend was the moment the Twitch audience and the festival audience stopped being two different crowds. Whoever headlines NOS in December 2027 is going to be playing to that room.

The move inland tells you something about the economics, too. Hollywood Park was a flex: the SoFi glow, the Inglewood address, the Forum next door. NOS is a fairground with a Ferris wheel and cheaper dirt. Rolling Loud chose the dirt, and the fan who pays $249 for three days instead of a stadium-adjacent price for two is who that decision is for. The fest also has a movie coming, Rolling Loud: The Movie on October 2 with Travis Scott, Sexyy Red and Ski Mask, and an India edition December 13-14 of this year, so the brand is expanding while the California ticket gets cheaper. That's a company that knows which market it can't afford to lose.

Lineup drops later. Presale is Thursday at 11. If you want the $10 hold, that's the window.
