Booked in Broward. Blaming Ak on the Phone.

The comedian was arrested Saturday in Hollywood, Florida on a misdemeanor touch-or-strike battery count, hours after telling DJ Akademiks on a live call that he was 'the reason' Lil Durk was acquitted. A Miami woman has posted abuse allegations; police haven't released a narrative.

The loudest critic of every rapper's case now has a booking photo of his own, and he's smiling in it.

## The arrest TMZ broke it Saturday, September 12: Charleston White, 49, arrested by Hollywood (FL) Police and booked into Broward County jail on one misdemeanor count of touch-or-strike battery. TheGrio reports he's held pending a judge's bond review; no police narrative, no named victim in the record, no comment from White. He's booked for a show Wednesday at Off the Hook Comedy Club in Naples, which is now a question mark.

## The allegation floating alongside it A Miami woman posted photos alleging White beat her the night before, bruised her eye and took her belongings, per Hollywood Unlocked. Nothing public ties her account to the arrest report. Treat it as an allegation until the police narrative or a charging document says otherwise.

## The phone call This is the part the timeline won't let go of. The same weekend, White called into DJ Akademiks' livestream furious about Lil Durk's acquittal and put it on Ak, per HotNewHipHop: "You the reason he got away... when the judge brought that st up and you said that st was a script, you the one f*ed this st up." He said Ak "saved that n***a life" and told him to be ashamed in front of Lul Pab's family. Ak pushed back. The judge in Durk's case had already said he understood why Akademiks was angry about his 2023 interview being used; Ak never asked to be part of a trial.

## Where this sits White built 250,000 YouTube subscribers on telling Black rappers they belong in prison. Durk's acquittal took his best material away in one afternoon, and by nightfall he had a case number of his own. It's a misdemeanor, an accusation, not a finding. But the man who called Durk's 2024 arrest "a victory for Black Americans" is going to have to explain a mugshot to the same audience he lectures.
