The Whitaker Group is putting two Air Jordan 11 Lows on the same Friday, and the one people are sleeping on is the women's one.

## The shoe JAIDE x Air Jordan 11 Low, style IW1882-300, Fiberglass/Black-White, $205, women's sizing. The patent mudguard stays, which is the right call on any 11, and above it sits soft green pebbled leather across the side panels and tongue. JAIDE branding is on the inner tongue and insole, there's a stitched pattern worked into the satin liner, white midsole, black carbon shank, translucent green outsole. The campaign is called "FEELIN' IT" and was shot around salons, nail shops and barbershops, with a launch event at JAIDE's Martini Bar in Atlanta on Sept. 11.

## Why it's bigger than a women's colorway JAIDE is James Whitaker's women's-focused concept, and this is its first Jordan collab. Same day, APB's 11 Low "Binary Blue" drops at $200. That's two 11 Lows, two Whitaker Group banners, zero SNKRS. A Black-owned retail group getting Jordan Brand to hand it exclusive rights on the same silhouette twice in one day, and selling one of them only to women's sizes, is a distribution story as much as a sneaker story.
