Capcom Goes First. Wednesday, 7am PT.

Tokyo Game Show doesn't open its doors until Thursday, but Capcom's 40-minute Spotlight streams Wednesday morning with Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and PRAGMATA on the board.

Tokyo Game Show runs Thursday through Monday at Makuhari Messe. Capcom isn't waiting for the doors. Its Spotlight stream goes live Wednesday, September 16 at 7am PT / 10am ET / 11pm in Tokyo, forty minutes, on Capcom's YouTube and Twitch channels with subtitles in 13 languages. It's the unofficial opening act of the whole week.

## The six on the board Capcom named its TGS lineup on September 1, and the Spotlight is built from it.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is the big expansion, and the one most likely to get a date. Wilds was Capcom's fastest seller ever; the expansion is what decides whether the player base comes back.

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is the one for this audience. The first Dark Arisen turned a good, weird RPG into a cult classic with a whole new island of dungeon. If the sequel's version does the same, that's a single-player fall pickup.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword brings the samurai series back after two decades of remasters. Miyamoto Musashi, Kyoto, demon-slaying. Capcom has shown combat; a release date is the ask.

PRAGMATA is the sci-fi action game that's been quiet since its first delay. Every showing so far has been short. Forty minutes gives it room.

Mega Man: Dual Override is on every platform down to PS4 and the original Switch, which tells you it's built for reach. And Street Fighter 6 is there because it always is; expect season content, maybe a character.

## What it isn't Resident Evil isn't in the Spotlight lineup. Capcom has a Biohazard shooting range on the show floor, but nothing announced for the stream. If you're watching for RE, temper it.

## How to play it Set an alarm for 7am Pacific Wednesday. Capcom's channels carry it live; the archive goes up right after. Then Thursday the floor opens with Square Enix's playable Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Sony's booth, and the week really starts.
