The 2004 Milwaukee PE gets a general release Saturday, Sept. 12 on SNKRS: white leather, Gorge Green reptile mudguard, iridescent purple hardware, full family sizing.

Ray Allen's Bucks-era Air Jordan 12 has been a grail-tier PE since 2004. Saturday, September 12, it goes retail. House of Heat (@HouseofHeat) and Complex (@Complex) both have it confirmed for Nike SNKRS and select Jordan retailers at $215, full family sizing down to toddler.

## The build Style code CT8013-103, officially "Summit White/Gorge Green/Fierce Purple." White tumbled leather upper, green reptile-textured mudguard and midsole, purple on the tongue and heel pull. The detail that separates the real pair from the early mockups is the hardware: the eyelets and midfoot panel are finished in an iridescent purple-green metallic, not the flat gold you'd expect on a 12. It shifts with the angle. Jordan Brand rarely does that on this silhouette.

## The history Allen wore Jordans in Milwaukee when the rest of the league was on Nike Basketball or And1, and his PEs were some of the most-photographed team-color Jordans of the pre-Instagram era. Jordan Brand already retroed his 2002 Bucks 7 in 2019; the 12 is the pair people actually asked for. It slots into the Jordan 12's 30th-anniversary run this year, alongside the Fireside 12 landing October 24. The Nike backend is calling the story "Idols Become Rivals": Ray grew up on MJ, then had to guard him.

## Buy or pass Buy if you wear 12s. This is the cleanest non-OG 12 of the year, it's a general release, and the colorway has a real player story instead of a marketing one. Pass if you're in it for resale: family sizing plus a GR means the aftermarket will be modest on adult sizes. GS and toddler pairs at $155 and $80 are where the flip margin lives, if that's your thing. We'd rather see it on feet.

One note: a couple of retailer calendars list September 13. SNKRS, Complex, and House of Heat all say Saturday the 12th. Go with the 12th.
