Some weeks Night City doesn't post. Cyberpunk's official news page hasn't moved since the December anniversary drop, and there's no patch note to read you. So this is the calendar instead, because the next month is the busiest CD Projekt has had since Phantom Liberty.
## Seven days: The Witcher 3 Remastered September 29. Free update for anyone who owns the game, on every platform, and for the first time on Battle.net. Visual upgrades, both expansions, quality-of-life fixes, community-made mods folded in with the modders credited. Buy the new Songs of the Past expansion on Battle.net and you get a Geralt skin in Diablo 4; the skin also comes to anyone who buys the expansion when it launches fully next year. (VGC)
Why it's a Cyberpunk story: Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty follow to Battle.net "later this year," per CDPR's BlizzCon announcement. The Witcher is the test run for the storefront Night City moves into next.
## Twenty-eight days: Edgerunners 2 October 20 on Netflix, Studio Trigger, the new crew. The supporting cast, the Cure opening and the Overwatch crossover have all been covered here; the count is the only new number. If you haven't rewatched season one, you have four weekends.
## The engine Co-CEO Michał Nowakowski said last week that the move to Unreal Engine 5 "was not the Cyberpunk launch," it was seeing Epic's Matrix demo. Orion, the Cyberpunk sequel being built in Boston, lives on that engine. So the quiet is real work: The Witcher 4 is the first UE5 game, Orion is the second, and there's nothing to patch on the old one because the old one is done at 40 million sold.
## The honest line Standing beats don't get to fake news. This week the Cyberpunk story is a release date for a different game and a countdown for a cartoon. Both are worth your calendar. Neither is a headline. Say that on air and move.
