Lil Sunny's Awful Road Trip now runs through March 2027, with a Chattanooga homecoming on Thanksgiving week, Camp Flog Gnaw in November, and Dallas, Houston and Austin this Thursday through Saturday.

The Sun's Tirade came out in September 2016 as the TDE album that wasn't trying to be a Kendrick album. Ten years on, it's Gold, "Wat's Wrong" is Platinum, and Isaiah Rashad is turning the anniversary into a tour that doesn't end until next spring. On Tuesday, September 8, he announced the extension through itsbeenawful.com, and Consequence published the full routing.

The dates that matter this week

The current leg is in Florida this weekend and hits Texas next: Dallas at South Side Ballroom on Thursday, September 17; Houston at Bayou Music Center on Friday the 18th; Austin at Emo's on Saturday the 19th. Alemeda opens. If you're in the state, that's your week.

The extension

The new North American run opens November 4 in Portland at the Crystal Ballroom, hits Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles on November 15, and lands in Chattanooga at The Signal on November 25, the night before Thanksgiving, which is the kind of hometown booking a Chattanooga artist doesn't do by accident. Then it goes overseas: Dublin on January 10, through the UK and Europe, and on to Australia and New Zealand, ending in Perth on March 7.

Why this album still gets a tour

The Sun's Tirade was the record that proved TDE could develop a voice that wasn't from L.A. Rashad's whole appeal was that he sounded like the South at half-speed: Tennessee drawl, Outkast reverence, a rapper who made anxiety sound like a porch conversation. It got him a cult, not a crossover, and the cult is why a ten-year-old album with no radio single can headline rooms on four continents.

The tour is technically in support of It's Been Awful, the third album, which Consequence has on its best-of-2026 list so far. That's the right way to run an anniversary: use the old record to fill the room, use the new one to prove you're not a nostalgia act. Rashad has spent a career being underrated in a crew that includes Kendrick, SZA, and Schoolboy Q. A world tour off a decade-old album is the argument he's finally winning.
