Thirty Days. Night City's Supporting Cast.

CD Projekt's Japanese account has been dropping one character a week. The latest three tell you what kind of story this is: a braindance dealer from the comics, his engineer, and the jazz singer who used to love the crew's washed-up legend.

One month. Oct. 20, Netflix, ten episodes. We've covered the leads, the dub, the Cure opening, the Overwatch skins and the board game. What we haven't covered is the bench, and CD Projekt has been quietly filling it in every week.

## The weekly drops Since late August, @CDPRJP has been posting one character introduction at a time, and the English side of the fandom mostly missed them. Three matter.

Avida Yang (Akemi Okamura). Talia's mother. Weak Kingsley's former lover. A onetime jazz singer and corporate insider. That's three of the four leads tied to one woman: the Maelstrom girl, the washed-up legend, and whatever corp history sent Talia into the gangs in the first place. Okamura is Nami in One Piece; that's the weight the role's being given.

Sal Bigelow (Takashi Matsuyama). Runs Sal Bigelow's Braindance Paradise. He didn't start in the anime; he's from Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams, the Dark Horse comic. Pulling a comic-only character into a Trigger series is the first time this franchise's tie-ins have talked to each other on screen.

Jessie (Miho Okasaki). Braindance engineer at Sal's shop. When a show introduces the person who edits the memories, the memories are going to be evidence.

## What the leads look like now Roman Carax, the cinephile who records Night City's ugliest truths. Talia Yang, corp-raised, Maelstrom-chromed. Weak Kingsley, the legend living without chrome, voiced in English by Clancy Brown. D, the nomad netrunner hunting his clan's killer. Season 1 was a kid and a gun. This is a documentarian, a braindance parlor and a memory economy. Writer Bartosz Sztybor pitched it to Trigger as Pulp Fiction meets Léon; the cast list reads like the first one.

## The runway The Cure's "10:15 Saturday Night" opens it. Petite Meller's "Watson" closes it. The Hunted board game ships around Sept. 30 if you want to lose the old crew on a kitchen table first. And 2077 itself is off Game Pass now, so if the show sends you back to the game, that's a purchase, not a sub.

## The read Braindance was the thing 2077 built its best missions around and the thing the first anime barely touched. A dealer, an engineer and a mother with a corporate past say Season 2 is going to run on it. Thirty days.

The Third Spider-Verse Jordan 1 Is Going Full Family. Summer 2027. — Sneaker News updated Sept. 15: the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Beyond the Spider-Verse' (JA1074-001, $200) is now expected in full family sizes, timed to the June 18, 2027 movie. After 'Origin Story' and 'Across,' this closes the trilogy.
GTA 6 Has a 'Dynamic Score' and 'The Next Evolution of In-Game Radio' — Buried in Rockstar's Sept. 18 announcement of 'Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album' is a promise of more music details to come, including a score that reacts to play and a radio system the studio says is a step past every GTA before it. Spotify is already advertising the soundtrack.
