Spider-Verse Jordan 1: Full Family, Summer 2027

Sneaker News updated Sept. 15: the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Beyond the Spider-Verse' (JA1074-001, $200) is now expected in full family sizes, timed to the June 18, 2027 movie. After 'Origin Story' and 'Across,' this closes the trilogy.

## The update Sneaker News updated its report on Tuesday, September 15: the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Beyond the Spider-Verse" (JA1074-001) is now expected to release in full family sizing, not just adult. Retail is $200. The window is Summer 2027, and the smart money has it landing around the movie, which Sony has dated for June 18, 2027. Info is credited to @zSneakerHeadz, @sneakerfiles, @brandon1an, and @mr_unloved1s, so treat the sizing as a well-sourced expectation, not a Nike confirmation. Nike hasn't shown the shoe.

## The trilogy This is the third Spider-Verse Jordan 1, one per film. The 2018 "Origin Story" came out at the peak of Jordan 1 hype: a "Chicago" with textured leather and a hangtag, and it did numbers with sneakerheads and Marvel people alike. The 2023 "Across the Spider-Verse" ran the same play with patchwork panels and Miles's spray-paint red. The official palette for the third is Black/White/University Red, which means another Chicago read, one way or another.

## Why full family matters The first two were adult-and-GS at best. Miles Morales is the Spider-Man for a generation of Black and Brown kids who saw a Brooklyn teenager in Jordan 1s on a movie screen before they saw one on a court. Putting this one in toddler and preschool sizes is Jordan Brand reading the room: the demand isn't only from the 30-year-olds who camped for "Origin Story," it's from their kids. It also means more pairs, which means the resale ceiling on the adult pair is lower than 2018's. Buy it to wear.
