## The model Toei has moved One Piece to roughly 26 episodes a year in seasonal blocks, down from the 40-to-50 weekly grind that ran since 1999. The Egghead break was the first time the show did it; Elbaf confirms it's the structure now. The tradeoff is visible on screen: the Elbaf episodes look like a film, and that's because nobody is drawing them the week before they air.
