If you've been running Night City on a subscription, today's the day it stops working. Cyberpunk 2077 leaves Xbox Game Pass on September 15, console and cloud. Nothing dramatic, just the end of a rotation. Here's the practical version.
## Your save Buy the game on the same Xbox account and your save is still there. Game Pass saves live on your account, not on the sub. That includes Phantom Liberty progress if you bought the expansion separately, which you had to, because the expansion was never part of the Game Pass deal.
## Where to buy it Base game and the Ultimate Edition (base plus Phantom Liberty) are on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, GOG, Epic, and Switch 2. The 2.x updates that fixed the game are in every version. And the fourth PC storefront is coming: CD Projekt confirmed at BlizzCon that the base game, Phantom Liberty, and the Ultimate Edition land on Battle.net later this year, no date, no price yet.
## The next three dates The Cyberpunk trading card game's beta week wraps Thursday, September 17, ahead of a November 6 release. The Witcher 3 Remastered lands September 29 as a free upgrade for owners, and pre-ordering its Songs of the Past expansion on Battle.net gets you a Geralt skin in Diablo 4. And Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 hits Netflix October 20. The game leaving a subscription isn't the story; the universe getting bigger is.
