Nobody camps out for a Jordan 15. Nobody's ever finished a top-10 list with a 17 Low on it. That's the entire premise behind the Black Pack — Jordan Brand looked at the four retros nobody asks for and decided the move wasn't a colorway story, it was a materials flex.

## What's actually dropping Nov. 7 The pack runs in two waves. The Air Jordan 14 Low in ostrich texture and the Air Jordan 16 already released October 3. November 7 closes it out: the Air Jordan 15 "Snakeskin," style IZ2585-001, and the Air Jordan 17 Low, style IZ2638-001. Both $240. Both on SNKRS and select retailers. Both blacked out, with the exotic material doing all the talking — snake print replaces the 15's signature woven midfoot panel, and the 17 Low runs dark grey suede with stingray on the collar.

## Why these two, specifically The 14 through 17 came out in the stretch after Jordan's second three-peat, into the Wizards years. None of the four ever built a Bred 4 or a Concord 11's mythology — no shot, no Finals moment people quote. Sneaker News calls the pack a real effort to "bring those early 2000s silhouettes back to the forefront," and that's the tell. There's no origin story to lean on here, so the pitch is craft: real snake, real stingray, jet black straight through, no colorway history required.

## The price says who it's for $240 sits above the standard $200–$215 retro tier — closer to premium-material pricing than a general release. That's Jordan Brand testing whether its least-collected models can carry a bump in price on material alone, no story attached. It's a bet on people who buy for the leather, not the legend.

## The read Every brand eventually runs out of iconic colorways to re-issue, and this is what it looks like when that happens: dig into the rotation nobody remembers, dress it in something nobody's tried on a Jordan before, and see who bites. If it works, expect a 13 or a 2 in exotic leather next. If it doesn't, this was always going to be a quiet drop — which, for the 15 and the 17 Low, might be the first time that's true on purpose.
