Moneybagg Yo & Ari Fletcher: Reportedly Married.

The Shade Room says the couple married in a traditional Muslim ceremony. It looks like it happened around his 35th birthday in Vegas. Neither has said it on the record yet.

Seven years, one public breakup, one reconciliation, an engagement confirmed at BET Awards weekend, and now the all-white photo. Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher are reportedly married.

## What happened The Shade Room broke it Wednesday, September 23: the Memphis rapper and Fletcher married in a traditional Muslim ceremony. The image going around shows the two in all white sharing their first kiss as newlyweds. XXL picked it up the same night. By Thursday, iHeart and Complex had it too, and Complex had it at No. 2 on its Music trending rail.

What's confirmed and what isn't. Neither of them has posted the words "we got married." Fletcher's Instagram carousel shows the kiss and the rings, captioned "In every lifetime, I'd find you. Happy birthday my love." XXL says it has reached out to Moneybagg's team for confirmation. Every outlet, us included, is running this as reported.

## The timeline clue The birthday is how people are dating the ceremony. Moneybagg turned 35 on Tuesday, September 22, and posted photos from a Las Vegas birthday weekend with Fletcher. XXL's read is that the wedding happened on or just before the birthday in Vegas. That's an inference from two photo dumps, not a date anyone has given.

## How they got here They started dating in October 2019. They split in January 2021 over Moneybagg's cheating, and he owned it on Angie Martinez's IRL podcast in 2023: "I made some mistakes... But I kept it G though." They got back together in 2022. For years Fletcher said they were already married. She finally confirmed an actual engagement at BET Awards weekend this June.

## The read Memphis has had a hard month. CMG lost CEO Grip, and Moneybagg was among the first under Grip's final post. This is the other side of that week. Separately, a $100 million lawsuit from his former manager is still headed to trial against him and Roc Nation, per Complex. None of that is a reason to kill the good news. It's just the whole picture of a 35-year-old who went from Memphis mixtapes to a CMG flagship and is now, reportedly, a husband.
