Ye Wants the Trial Moved. Russia Has No Stadium.

Ye's lawyers want the Oct. 12 Donda Academy trial moved to May 2027, citing St. Petersburg concerts that lost their venue and a key witness who was deported.

The Donda Academy case was headed for a jury on October 12. Ye's team wants seven more months.

## The request Ye's lawyers asked the judge to move the trial to May 17, 2027, or another date the court picks. The plaintiff is Benjamin Provo, a former Donda Academy security guard seeking about $23 million. He says he was fired for refusing to cut his dreadlocks, which he ties to his Muslim faith. ## The reasons First, scheduling: planned shows in St. Petersburg on October 10 and 11. The catch is that Gazprom Arena said back in August it never signed a rental agreement, and as of September 24 the promoter, Say Agency, still hadn't confirmed a venue. Second, a witness: Milo Yiannopoulos, Ye's former Yeezy chief of staff, was detained in August and deported to the UK. Ye's team calls him a key witness they can't reach. They're also asking for sanctions against Provo and his lawyer over discovery delays. (Hot 97)

## What's confirmed on the road The stadium run with firm venues hasn't changed: Jakarta's GBK on October 24, Houston October 31, Arlington November 7, Phoenix November 21. Russia is the question mark.
