## The finale first Episode 1180, "Domi Reversi," closes out the 2026 run of the Elbaph Arc on Crunchyroll this Sunday, September 27 — the last episode before the anime goes on break under its new 26-episodes-a-year format. No return date has been announced for the back half yet.
## The dub is coming right behind it According to ComicBook, Crunchyroll confirmed English, Spanish and Portuguese dub episodes for the Elbaph Arc begin later in October — no exact date locked yet, so don't promise one on air. The rollout comes with a panel at New York Comic Con, October 9 at 12:45 p.m. ET, where English voice actors Colleen Clinkenbeard (Luffy), Ian Sinclair (Brook and Scopper Gaban) and Matthew David Rudd (Loki) will talk through what's ahead in the arc and share content with the crowd in the room.
## Why the timing matters The sub audience gets a stopping point with a real cliffhanger — Imu is on the move heading into the break. The dub audience gets a fresh on-ramp right as that break starts, which means two different fanbases are getting served at two different moments instead of one crowd going quiet while the other catches up. That's a smarter release cadence than most long-running shonen manage.
