Nine months after the last stadium went dark, the Grand National Tour is still breaking records. The final numbers are in: $390.7 million from 2.037 million tickets across 47 shows in 2025. By the reported count, that's the highest-grossing touring year any rapper has ever had.
## What got reported Box-office trackers on X posted the updated totals Thursday, Sept. 24. XXL credits the numbers to ChartData, and HotNewHipHop credits Touring Data. Both outlets report the same figures, though, so the discrepancy is only about who posted them first. XXL wrote it up Friday, Sept. 25.
The new totals fold in the Australia and Latin America legs, the dates that came after the North American and European runs. That puts the tour past the previous rap-tour record. As covered in 2025, it's also already the highest-grossing co-headlining tour ever.
## The single-night numbers HNHH reports that the Mexico City stop was Kendrick's biggest solo concert by both gross and attendance: $5.879 million from 58,426 tickets. The Seattle night already held the record for the highest-grossing hip-hop concert, at $14.811 million from 60,941 tickets per Billboard.
## Punch set the record straight TDE president Punch answered Friday on X. His opener was "390 is nuts lol. Extremely grateful!" He then went after the argument that was already filling the replies: whose tour was it? Per XXL, his position is that both things are true. Dot has the highest-grossing rap tour of all time, and SZA co-headlined. He says either of them could've sold out their own stadium run, and they toured together because they're family.
That's the right frame. The Grand National wasn't a rapper borrowing an R&B star's audience or the other way around. It was two TDE artists at their commercial peak on the same bill. The co-headliner argument is the internet trying to put an asterisk on a number that doesn't need one.
## Why it lands now 2026 has been Kendrick's quiet year. There's no album, just a string of features: the Jhené Aiko "So Good" record and a verse for DJ Dahii. The *Whitney Springs* movie with the South Park guys got pushed again. With no rollout to talk about, the receipts from 2025 are doing it for him. GNX, the Super Bowl halftime show and a full year on the road added up to nearly $400 million.
