Four Seasons Deep. Iruma-kun Goes to Theaters.

A day after Season 4's finale, the 'DEVIL'S PARTY! 2' event announced Iruma-kun's first anime film with a brand-new story, ahead of the manga's 10th anniversary in March 2027.

Some shonen get a big launch and fade. Iruma-kun just kept going, and now it's getting a movie.

## The announcement On Sunday, Sept. 27, the "DEVIL'S PARTY! 2" event for Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun ran a promo video announcing the anime's first film project, per Anime News Network and Anime Trending (@AniTrendz). The film tells a brand-new story, not a retelling of manga arcs.

The timing was deliberate. The reveal came the day after the 24th and final episode of Season 4 aired. There's no studio, date or cast announcement yet.

## The numbers behind it - Manga: Osamu Nishi's series started in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion in 2017 and is at 50 volumes. - Anniversary: the manga turns 10 in March 2027, and the video leaned into it. - Spin-off: Iruma-kun: IruMafia Edition has its own TV anime coming in 2027. - Streaming: the series is on Crunchyroll (@Crunchyroll).

## Why it lands Iruma is a kid whose trash parents sold his soul, and he survives demon school on kindness and people skills. It's the rare long-runner built around a nice protagonist instead of a power ladder. A film and a spin-off in the same stretch means the franchise has decided it's a tentpole.

## The take This one's for the fans already four seasons in. It isn't crossover news. Theatrical runs turned Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer into events, and an original story is the riskier version of that play. Iruma-kun is betting its tenth year on it. Watch for the studio and date announcements.
