The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches October 29, 2026. Gematsu lists PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch 2, Switch, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Telltale Games develops, with PM Studios co-publishing.

What's changed

Gematsu reports enhanced visuals, refined character and environment presentation, and better accessibility, animation, audio, and framerate options. There's also over an hour of bonus content: behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, galleries, and deleted scenes. The structure stays the same, five episodes of a mature noir investigation where your choices carry forward.

Why it hits

The original is a detective story in a city of fairy-tale outcasts, run on dialogue and consequence. It's a game people talk about the way they talk about a good film: you remember the choices you made and argue about the ones you didn't. Choice-driven games went quiet for a while. A remaster dropping on every platform, including Switch 2, says the audience never left.

If you've never played it, late October is the right season. Pick a platform, go in blind, and live with what you choose.
