The 11 you expected is the Dec. 12 "Space Jam". The 11 you didn't is this one.
## What surfaced On Sept. 30, Sneaker News published official brand photos of a women's-exclusive Air Jordan 11, style IZ1800-200, from the Space Jam 30th Anniversary collection. The patent leather is gone; in its place is a matte, iridescent upper that shifts between green and purple depending on the angle. Black midsole. Sneaker News describes the outsole as opaque, while House of Heat and Sole Retriever see an icy semi-translucent one, so wait for detailed photos on that. Women's sizing with extended runs, Holiday 2026, $235 per Sneaker News and Sneaker Bar Detroit. House of Heat lists Nov. 11 and $255; treat both as unconfirmed.
## The story is embargoed Sneaker News says it "can confirm the colorway is directly inspired by the original Space Jam film, although the shoe's official nickname and complete story behind the design cannot yet be disclosed." The colorway reads Light British Tan/Off Noir/Metallic Silver on paper. Sole Retriever is calling it "Magic Ball"; Sneaker Bar Detroit guesses the glowing basketball from the movie. Nobody has it from Jordan Brand yet.

## The set so far Per House of Heat's 30th-anniversary guide: the Air Jordan 9 "Space Jam" already dropped Sept. 19 and sat near retail; the Air Jordan 11 "Green Screen" (IQ5700-900) is mid-November; the Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" (CT8012-900) is Dec. 12; this women's pair lands in between; and there's an Air Jordan 1 Low "Air Bugs" for little kids. Three 11s in one holiday is a lot of 11s, which is exactly the thing Nike said Thursday it's going to stop doing.

## The read A women's-exclusive 11 with a new material story is a better idea than a third black-and-white retro. The 11 is the culture's dress shoe, and women have been buying men's sizes of it for thirty years. If the extended sizing is real, this is the first Space Jam 11 that was built for them instead of resized for them.
