The Air Jordan 4 "Georgetown" (FV5029-004) is set for February 27, 2027, at $220. SneakerFiles describes it as a Hoyas-inspired pair with no official Georgetown University connection.
Pewter Grey nubuck across the upper. College Navy on the mesh panels and a navy outsole. White on the tongue patch and midsole, a translucent heel tab, Nike Air on the heel, Jumpman on the tongue. An update to the listing mentions splatter detailing across the heel.
What it is, and what it isn't
Georgetown has its own place in the culture. The Hoyas of the Iverson years put grey and navy on the map, and anybody who wore that gear knows the feeling. This 4 borrows the palette and leaves the name at the door. No Hoyas logo, no school license. That's a choice, and probably a licensing one. Read it as a color story, not a tribute.
The retail setup
SneakerFiles lists Nike, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Hibbett, and Shiekh. General release. At $220 it sits level with the rest of the 2027 four-wave on the same listing, with Bred and Bloodline priced higher at $230.
The take
This pair wins on restraint. Grey nubuck photographs well and wears with everything. The risk is the same as any colorway that points at something it can't name: some of the people it's aimed at will see the missing logo and keep their money. If you want the real Hoyas energy, thrift a vintage jacket and wear these under it.
Hedge note: the release date is from a June listing and Jordan Brand dates move. Check SNKRS closer to drop.
