Sept. 26 is The Last of Us Day. Naughty Dog pushed the celebration to Monday, Sept. 28, and the headliner wasn't in a Naughty Dog game. It was in Sucker Punch's.

## What dropped @Naughty_Dog teased on Sept. 26 a partnership, a collaboration and digital surprises for Monday. Its TLOU Day blog post delivered, per Push Square:

Ghost of Yotei Clicker armor. A Clicker-inspired armor set for Atsu. You get it by upgrading to the Complete Edition on PS5, and it works in the base game and the new Echoes of Sekigahara expansion.
Youtooz Clicker. A limited-edition figure.
Four free PSN avatars. Seraphites, W.L.F., Ellie's space pin, and one more. The Americas code is QDFN-GT5D-AMG7.
PS5 Welcome Hub wallpaper. The first TLOU-themed animated background, pairing Part I and Part II Remastered.

## The HBO side The TV show got the bigger names. Per Deadline via Push Square (Sept. 26), Season 3 adds:

John Goodman as Joey
Ian Alexander, Lev's voice in Part II, as Paco. Joey and Paco are the self-styled "Heroes of the Highway."
Laura Bailey, Abby's voice in Part II, as Elizabeth, a Seraphite leader

Tbreak reports Season 3 lands in 2027 with Craig Mazin as sole showrunner. Casting Abby's voice actor as a Seraphite, not as Abby, is the show doing what it does best: remixing the source instead of tracing it.

## The take The crossover is the right kind of flex. Two first-party studios trading monsters across worlds is the kind of in-house synergy Sony's Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition rollout needed going into Oct. 1. The Push Square comment section is all-in on the armor.

The problem is what's missing. Naughty Dog hasn't announced a new game since Part II Remastered in 2024, and 25YL put it bluntly: a birthday party with no cake. The franchise's momentum now lives on HBO and in other studios' games. Wallpapers and avatars keep the lights on, but the day exists to celebrate a game series that hasn't had a new entry in years.

No official video accompanied Monday's drop.
