The Russia shows are done. Say Agency confirmed Wednesday, Sept. 30, that Ye's St. Petersburg concerts planned for Oct. 10 and 11 are cancelled, per HotNewHipHop.
## How it got here The promoter announced the dates in August and said more than 100,000 tickets had been sold. That's the organizers' number, not an audited one. Gazprom Arena then said there was never a lease agreement. In mid-September, Meduza reported the dates had been pulled from Ye's tour site. Say Agency kept sending conflicting messages for over a month before this week's confirmation.
## The politics HotNewHipHop reports that Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova opposed the concerts, citing Ye's history of antisemitic rhetoric and Nazi imagery. Officials also reportedly never signed off on the shows.
## What fans do now Ticket refunds are set to begin Oct. 12. That's also the date his civil trial is currently set for. We haven't seen a ruling on his request to push that trial, so don't read anything into the overlap beyond the calendar.
## What's still on the calendar Jakarta is Oct. 24, Houston is Halloween night, then Arlington and Phoenix in November. Those are the stadium dates still standing, and none of them have been reported as changed.
