Hunter's Moon lands on PS5 October 26, 2026. It's a stealth-horror game from Twin Swans, and the setup is simple and mean: one night, one village, and everybody already believes you're a witch.
## What it is You play Lilith Thorne, a woman a rural village suspects of witchcraft. The whole game runs across a single night. Three people are after you: a self-styled Witchfinder General, a local magistrate, and a hunter. That's the pitch, per Final Weapon's Sept. 3 report on the date.
The hook is listening. Final Weapon describes an eavesdropping mechanic: you stand unseen at doors and windows, and what you overhear gives you tips to get through the night. Information is the weapon. You're not strong. You're informed.
## Look and feel Muted colors, stylized animation, and character designs that don't look like every other horror release. It's folklore horror, not jump-scare horror, and GamingBolt's reveal coverage frames it that way too. The dread comes from the trial happening before the trial.
## Date, price, and what we can't confirm October 26 is the date PS5 listings carry, and the game also appeared in the September State of Play recap alongside other dated titles. Final Weapon notes it as October 25 in North America, so check your region's store listing. We couldn't find a confirmed price or publisher in the sources we read. Don't trust anyone quoting one until the PlayStation Store page says so.
## Why it hits Plenty of us know the feeling of walking into a room where the verdict's already in. Hunter's Moon turns that into a mechanic: you survive by knowing what they're saying about you before they say it to your face. Whether the game pulls that off, we'll find out in a few weeks. The premise earns a look.
It's also a quiet reminder of how many smaller PS5 releases get lost in the shadow of the big first-party launches. Worth keeping on the radar next to the rest of the fall slate.
Built for the culture. Operated from San Diego. Run by PHRHX through Sneakz & Beatz LLC. Black-owned, four pillars: sneakers, hip-hop, anime, gaming.
