Two weeks after QRÖMELIFE, Quavo is already on the next one. On October 16 he posted a whiteboard for SATCHAMO to X (@QuavoStuntin), and HotNewHipHop wrote it up the same day.
What the post shows
HNHH reports the board lists the tracklist for a solo album, reportedly 13 songs, with track titles and features crossed out. Quavo added the hashtag #FREESATCHAMO and hinted that the album will still "count." No release date has been announced, and we are not guessing one.
The crossed-out names are the open question. The post does not say whether the lines were scrapped, hidden or just redacted for the tease, and neither does HNHH. Until Quavo or his team clarifies, the only confirmed facts are the title, the reported track count and the hashtag.
Where it fits
SATCHAMO is a nod to Louis Armstrong's nickname, Satchmo, per HNHH, and Quavo first teased it in 2025 with a "SATCHAMO Freestyle." He has called QRÖMELIFE the first chapter in the "Book of Qröme." We covered that album's release and features and the Complex interview where he outlined the projects ahead.
The read
Quavo is stacking releases the way the Migos run did: a lot, quickly, with the reveal as part of the product. A solo album that references Armstrong and sits inside a chaptered mythology is a bigger swing than a loose single. The test is whether SATCHAMO gets a date and a real rollout, or stays a whiteboard.
