The Air Jordan 6 "Carmine" (style code CT8529-109) is listed to return March 13, 2027, at $215, per Sneaker Bar Detroit and the Nice Kicks release calendar. Jordan Brand hasn't confirmed it publicly. Sneaker Freaker says the same, and its own copy even says "mid-2027" in one spot. Treat the date as a plan.
The shoe
White leather base. Carmine red nubuck on the overlays. Black on the tongue and midsole. Sneaker Bar Detroit expects Nike Air on the heel, the lace lock, the visible Air unit and the translucent outsole. Those details are the whole point of a Carmine. It's a clean, loud-but-not-too-loud 6.
The history
The Carmine is one of the five original Air Jordan 6 colorways from 1991, the shoe Mike wore to win his first title. It came back in the 2008 Countdown Pack, as a standalone in 2014, and again in 2021. The 2021 pair got dragged for quality. So the 2027 version is going to get inspected like a package at customs. Check the shape, the nubuck and the heel branding before you pay.
Price and where to cop
$215, through Nike.com and Jordan Brand retailers, according to Sneaker Bar Detroit. No raffle or SNKRS details are out yet.
The take
Look, the 6 has a big 2026 already. The White Infrared lands November 7 with Nike Air, and the Carmine follows the same playbook in the spring. If Jordan Brand gets the materials right this time, this is an easy wear. If not, the resale will tell you fast.
Unconfirmed
Exact date (March 13 vs "mid-2027" wording), final price, and retailer list. Sources dated April 2026 and nothing official since.
