Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle returned October 13, 2026, with a second cour, a new trailer and Sora Amamiya joining as Mai Todo, per Anime Corner. The title appears on Crunchyroll's fall 2026 lineup as a cour 2 premiere on October 13.

The cast

Returning: Shogo Sakata as Saku Chitose, Manaka Iwami as Yuko Hiiragi, Hina Youmiya as Yua Uchida, Ikumi Hasegawa as Yuzuki Nanase, Rumi Okubo as Haru Aomi and Chika Anzai as Asuka Nishino. New: Amamiya as Mai Todo.

The production

Studio feel. handles animation. The trailer features two songs: "Saku" by Cidergirl and "Doko ni mo Ikenai Mama" by aruma.

The story

Saku Chitose is the popular kid at his high school. A teacher asks him to help bring back a classmate who's been shut in her room for months, and that disrupts his easy life. It's based on the light novel by Hiromu, illustrated by raemz, running from Gagaga Bunko since 2019. Yen Press licenses the English edition, and a Bobcat manga has run in Manga Up! since 2020.

The take

Look, school-life romance is a crowded lane, and this one earns attention for taking the isolation thread seriously, at least in premise. Whether it keeps that depth in cour 2 is what I'm watching. The source material reaches English readers through Yen Press, so you can read ahead.

Unconfirmed

Anime Corner doesn't state the streaming platform or regional availability, and the lineup list is the only Crunchyroll confirmation we've checked. Verify your region before you plan a watch night.
