Rockstar dropped the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer on Oct. 15, a little over a month before the Nov. 19 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and the music is the headline: the original score is by Justice.
What the trailer shows
Per GamingBolt's breakdown, it opens with Jason getting a call from Lucia, which reads as him picking her up after her sentence at Leonida Penitentiary. Jason's Army past comes with a bad exit, which GamingBolt reads as the reason he has no access to loans. Lucia asks if they'll be okay, tied to an "easy score" that went wrong and pulled them into a criminal conspiracy. There's a swamp sequence with Jason in tactical gear, possibly a flashback, Lucia riding a moving truck and jumping onto a plane's wheel as it takes off, and chases including a sports car. Those readings are the outlet's interpretation of the footage, not Rockstar's copy.

Justice and the music angle
GamingBolt reports Rockstar confirmed, via a Rockstar Newswire post on the trailer, that the French duo Justice composed the original score. The trailer debuted their single "Flower in a Hurricane," featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. The single is slated for the official soundtrack album, which GamingBolt places at a Nov. 19 CD and vinyl launch, 34 tracks with names including Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Yung Lean and Cardi B. We covered the hip-hop side of that tracklist in the album story, and the radio tradition behind it in GTA's hip-hop curation.
The cultural close
Every GTA has been a mixtape first and a game second. Putting an electronic duo on the score and SZA on the lead single signals Vice City is being soundtracked as a mainstream record, not a niche one. Pre-load, price and platform details are still moving, so check Rockstar's own channels before you spend.
