## What actually happened The Prefect of Reggio Emilia ordered the two RCF Arena shows — July 17 and July 18 — cancelled. The decision came out of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, which was convened after formal complaints from the consumer group Codacons and the Jewish communities of Modena and Reggio Emilia over West's past antisemitic statements. The stated reason for the order was public order and safety, given the size of the crowds and how close together the two dates were. Ticket holders can request refunds through July 19.
## The tour isn't dead This is a stop getting pulled, not a run collapsing. The 2026 European leg continues — Madrid's Riyadh Air Metropolitano on July 30, then Algarve on August 7 — and those shows are still on. The tour's giant spinning-sphere stage, designed with Aus Taylor, travels with it. Reggio Emilia is a hole in the calendar, not the end of the road.
