If you care about fits as much as fights, Gachiakuta is your anime. Season 2 just gave us the first taste.

## What dropped The official site rolled out a "first look" PV for Gachiakuta Season 2 on July 28, dropping new footage of returning and brand-new characters. Alongside it, the team unveiled fresh Enjin and Zanka art that was handed out as limited postcards at Anime Expo 2026 and Taiwan's comics festival. BONES FILM is back on animation, with Fumihiko Suganuma directing and Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga) on scripts.

## Why it hits Gachiakuta is built on stuff we already live in. Kei Urana's world runs on graffiti — real graffiti design by Hideyoshi Ando — spray cans, layered fits, chunky boots and gloves that look pulled straight off a Fairfax rack. The whole premise is about what society throws away coming back harder. That's a Black-culture story if you squint: taking the cast-off and making it fly. No shock it was Crunchyroll's most-viewed anime in July 2025.

## The read Most shonen dress their leads in a uniform and call it a day. Gachiakuta treats drip like character work. For a sneakerhead audience, that's the crossover — this is the anime you screenshot for outfit inspo, not just fight scenes. It sits right next to Jujutsu Kaisen in the modern-shonen conversation but wins on style points.
