The best story-driven RPG of the last decade isn't finished talking. That's the kind of news the single-player lane on this show exists for.

## The announcement CD Projekt Red announced a third full expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled 'Songs of the Past.' The studio's staying light on specifics but has teased it as a 'major release' with real hours of content — not a small side add-on. It's slated for 2027.

## Why now The Witcher 3 came out over a decade ago and still sells and still gets played. Its two original expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, are held up as some of the best DLC ever made. Going back to that well — instead of leaving it alone — says CDPR knows the appetite is still there.

## The Witcher 4 wait This also fills a gap. The Witcher 4 hasn't been formally released, and the studio's got Cyberpunk's sequel cooking too. A fresh Geralt chapter gives fans a real reason to return to the world while the next mainline game stays over the horizon.
