Every year one new show sneaks up and grabs the fandom by the collar. In 2025 that show was Gachiakuta — and it's officially getting a second run.

## What's confirmed Studio Bones has confirmed Gachiakuta Season 2, announced alongside its other big returns. The first season turned a manga a lot of people slept on into one of the most talked-about debuts of its year, and Bones moved fast to lock the follow-up.

## Why it caught fire Gachiakuta looks like nothing else on the schedule — a grimy, graffiti-soaked world where the poor are literally thrown away, and a hero who fights with 'vitals,' objects loaded with the memories of their owners. It's kinetic, it's angry, and it's got a real class-divide story underneath the action. That combination of style and substance is what pulled the crossover crowd.
