DJ Khaled pushed back his album after The Roots Picnic and JAY-Z's Yankee Stadium run left him 'inspired even more.'

Another one... is gonna have to wait. DJ Khaled is holding his album back, and he's got a reason.

## What dropped Around July 21-22, 2026, Khaled revealed he's pushing back Aalam of God, saying he got "inspired even more" after attending The Roots Picnic and JAY-Z's run at Yankee Stadium. His logic: "why am I gonna rush?... the album's getting bigger." No new release date was announced.

## Why it matters Khaled albums are all-star affairs - the delay usually means he's chasing another marquee feature or a bigger single. After watching JAY-Z command a stadium, the man clearly wants his rollout to match that scale. For better or worse, that's the Khaled formula: maximalism, patience, and a whole lot of anticipation-building.
