He ran the Cool Running DJs and built the Strictly 4 Traps N Trunks series into a machine that broke records out the South when the coasts weren't looking that way yet.
## What he did for the game Look at the list of artists he pushed early: Rick Ross, Plies, T.I., Jeezy, Yo Gotti, B.o.B, Gucci Mane. Bigga was the co-sign that told the streets a record was real. In a era before the algorithm decided what you heard, a DJ like him was the algorithm. He'd spin it, stamp it, and move it region to region until it was undeniable.
## The love came back When the news hit, the tributes poured in fast. Rick Ross called him a legendary figure who embraced him from day one. Plies thanked God for giving the industry a true pioneer.
