Some anime comebacks fizzle. This one stuck the landing the whole way — and now it's ending.

## What's dropping Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War — The Calamity is the fourth and final part of the TYBW adaptation, premiering July 25, 2026 from Pierrot Films. In the US it streams on Hulu, with Disney+ carrying it internationally. It adapts the manga's final chapters (664–686) to close the war with Yhwach — and the series.

## The comeback context This is the closing chapter of one of the most ambitious revival projects in modern anime. Bleach went dormant for years, then came back in 2022 with a TYBW adaptation that fans widely consider a glow-up over the original run — better animation, better pacing, the manga's final arc finally done right.
